Hey, I’m Maria.

I am a storyteller with a deep love for film and cinema. Whether I'm acting, writing, or directing, I bring professionalism, focus, and a tireless work ethic to every project I undertake. I am committed to creating work that resonates and endures.

About Maria Sky

Maria’s roots are in journalism, which sparked her passion for bold, character-driven storytelling. After nearly a decade writing for outlets like Newsweek, she moved from Brooklyn to Miami in 2021 to pursue a more expressive, creative life in front of and behind the camera.

She is the creator, writer, and director of Curated Lives (2025), a vertical-format short series exploring the tension between curated online personas and messy, unfiltered reality. As an actress, Maria is best known for her work on Judge Porter (2025) and the cinematic monologue Sugar Slate (2025), filmed in collaboration with The Coach MC.

Maria currently trains under the direction of Lorenzo Patané at The Coach MC and brings a wide range of life experience to every role she inhabits. She is also a reliable UGC creator with a sharp eye for storytelling and branding.

Goals

Her goals include developing her first feature film and starring in a project on a major streaming platform. When she’s not filming or writing, she’s likely practicing hot yoga or spending time with her friends, her husband, and her sweet baby angel, Ramen Noodle.
